Virtual Commencement
In lieu of an in-person ceremony at Pauley Pavilion, our virtual commencement was aired at 12:30 p.m. PDT on Saturday, June 13. You are also able to watch the ceremony on the UCLA Samueli YouTube channel. The ceremony features various traditional elements including the national anthem, the student speaker and individualized slides of the graduates who registered for the ceremony.
Commencement Speaker
We are excited to announce our 2020 Commencement Speaker was Jason Droege, who was Uber’s vice president of Uber Everything and helped launch the popular Uber Eats. Jason was one of our students in computer science before becoming a successful entrepreneur.
