About

The Undergraduate Internship Program (UIP) is a new initiative from the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science to assist Samueli Engineering students by providing resources, information, and opportunities.

UIP hosts multiple workshops throughout the year to better prepare students for securing an internship, offers a seminar class further breaking down the internship process (ENGR 23: Finding an Industry Internship Seminar Course, runs a Consolidated On-Campus Recruitment Calendar and highlights job and internship postings and recruiting events in weekly email blasts to Samueli undergraduates.

Dyson’s Engineering and Design Competition Info Session
Date: Thursday, April 2

Join Dyson and the James Dyson Foundation on April 2 from 12pm-1pm EST to learn more about their design engineering competition, the James Dyson Award, open to university students and recent graduates. During the virtual session, a Dyson engineer and past James Dyson Award judge, Kate Craft, will provide an insider’s perspective into Dyson’s engineering principles, connecting Dyson’s innovative problem-solving back to the Award and the judging criteria used on student and graduate’s projects. Following the 30-minute presentation, the presenters will answer student’s questions.

ENGINEERING TRANSFER STUDENT CENTER (ETC)

The Engineering Transfer Center at UCLA Samueli provides resources and support for current engineering transfer students (eTransfers), visibility and advocacy for the transfer community, and works with local community colleges to support the engineering pipeline.
