The Undergraduate Research Fellows Program (URFP) will be accepting applications for the 2020 program from October 15 – November 15, 2019.

URFP a two-quarter program that supports undergraduates conducting STEM research projects with a UCLA Faculty Research Mentor during Winter and Spring 2020. Fellows are eligible to receive scholarships up to $3000. This program is particularly suited for students who are beginning to conduct STEM research or who are early-on in their undergraduate research careers. Fellows will be required to enroll in the HNRS-101A: Student Research Forum in Winter 2020 (T/R: 2-4pm), which is a professional & career development seminar to supplement the undergraduate STEM research experience.

 

Application Period: October 15 – November 15, 2019; all application materials are due by 11:59pm.

Eligibility:

  • Must have a current STEM research project with a UCLA Faculty
  • 2.5 minimum GPA
  • Expected graduation date of Spring 2020 or later
  • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, International, or AB 540 student status

Required Course enrollment: HNRS-101A (Student Research Forum; 2 units Pass/No Pass) Tues/Thurs 2:00-4:00pm during Winter 2020 only
