    The UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering & Applied Science, Engineering Science Corps Outreach Program’s mission is to increase awareness and interest in the many fields of Engineering.

    Are you a high school student interested in exercising your imagination and building things with your hands? Are you interested in learning more about engineering?

  • Online Tutoring & Mentoring Program

    If you need help on your math or science course, or you simply have a question about becoming an Engineer or Engineering college student, then join the UCLA Engineering Online Tutoring & Mentoring Program. UCLA Engineering students are volunteer program tutors, and they are waiting to help you!

  • CEED K-12 Program

    Since 1997, CEED’s K-12 programs have served nearly 70 teachers, over 4,000 students and over 600 parents from urban schools in both Los Angeles Unified School District and the Inglewood Unified District.

  • SMARTS

    A free commuter program, is sponsored by the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science Center for Excellence in Engineering and Diversity (CEED). Its purpose is to increase the number of high school students in urban areas who are interested in careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) based fields.

  • SMASH

    A free residential pre-college program, will host 30 current ninth grade students to participate in a five-week, intensive, math and science academy.
    SMASH is geared toward high achieving, economically disadvantaged, high school students who are underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

  • Nano Art|Sci Summer Insitute

    Two week introductory studio / lab course explores the creative aspects of scientific research and innovation.

  • Nano Science Lab

    Five day program for students to learn about nanoscience and nanotechnology through intensive hands-on experiments developed by UCLA graduate and postdoctoral researchers

  • CENS High School Scholars Program

    The CENS High School and Undergraduate Scholars Program at UCLA is a chance to gain first-hand experience in a university setting, conducting cutting-edge research on participatory sensing and mobile phone technology.

  • LACC- Los Angeles Computing Circle

    The Los Angeles Computing Circle is an outreach program organized, supervised, and mentored by faculty members, and graduate and undergraduate student volunteers from UCLA’s Electrical Engineering Department.
