ESUC Industry Liaison Committee

UCLA has a plethora of resources available for students to utilize – the Undergraduate Internship Program, the Career Center, the Alumni Association, the Samueli Development Team, the Engineering Society of UCLA, engineering student organizations, and others. The purpose and objective of the Industry Liaison Committee is to gather these various entities to collaborate and share resources with the goal of engaging all Samueli Engineering undergraduates.

The Undergraduate Internship Program (UIP) and Engineering Society of UCLA (ESUC) co-hosts committee meetings to: 1) collaborate and exchange resources, 2) support various industry-facing events, 3) increase organization membership and reach a bigger audience.

In entering our 2nd year, the Committee has revised its goals:

  1. Co-market of campus industry recruitment events
  2. Leverage existing resources and expertise
  3. Solicit school support
  4. Collect and track attendance data of career fairs (through UIP’s iPad Reservation system)
  5. Develop long term measurable outcomes

UIP and ESUC cordially invite ALL students organization who host industry facing events to join the committee.
