The primary functions of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA) are:

1. The approval of programs of study for undergraduates in UCLA's Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science (HSSEAS).
   
2. The admission of undergraduate and graduate applicants to the School

In support of these functions a number of services are available. Academic counselors offer students guidance in both curricular and administrative matters.

OASA can also provide information for the academic community and general public about enrollment statistics and other subjects related to engineering education.

Effective, W09, Wednesday mornings (9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.) and Thursday afternoons (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) walk in appointments are available as follows:

 

- on a first come limited basis (normally 15 minute appointments.)

- limited to HSSEAS students.  If you are a non-HSSEAS student and are considering a change of major to HSSEAS, please sign

up for our change of major workshop

- Degree Candidates, in order to assure that your degree audit process goes smoothly,  need to make sure you have followed the degree audit process and email the Degree Auditors directly with their questions.
