The Navy is currently looking for top notch engineers for our Nuclear Propulsion
Officer Candidate (NUPOC) program. Nuclear engineering Officers in the Navy are provided a rigorous theoretical and technical education that prepares them for managing divisions of 15-20 sailors that operate some of the most complicated engineering systems on the planet.
Benefits while in School
A $15,000 signing bonus upon acceptance into the program and up to $5,500 per month while you finish your degree. Additionally, you are provided free medical and dental coverage, all that is required is that you maintain a 3.0+ GPA and graduate on time.
Basic Requirements
You need to have completed 1 year of calculus and calculus based physics, be within 2.5 years of graduating, and you are a U.S. citizen.
There are four career paths, Submarine or Nuclear Surface Warfare Officers, Naval Reactors Engineers, and Nuclear Power Instructors. I’d be happy to talk to you about what a career as a Naval Officer is like and the great technical and managerial opportunities that a career in the Navy can provide.
