Petition Process

 

Students submitting petitions to the Associate Dean must present legible, clearly stated requests, based on logically correct and academically meaningful reasons, supported by appropriate documentation.

NOTE: There is no guarantee any petition will be approved. Plan accordingly.

Obtain petition forms in 6426 Boelter Hall. Students MUST pick up petition results in 6426 Boelter Hall.

For 195, must have letter from internship employer.

For 199, must have signature of faculty mentor and chair or vice-chair of 199 department.

Contract forms for enrollment in 195 & 199 courses must be submitted to 6426BH no later than the Tuesday of week 2,

to avoid the 3rd week add fee.  This fee will be assessed during 3rd week regardless of the reason.  To avoid this fee,
it is advisable to begin the contract course process before the quarter begins.
