Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS)
HSSEAS undergraduate students may use DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) to see the credit they have received and determine which requirements of their degree are left to complete.
Students admitted to UCLA Fall 2012 and thereafter utilize UCLA’s Degree Audit System which can be accessed via URSA OnLine (https://www.ursa.ucla.edu). Login with your Bruin Online Login ID and password to enter the system.
Students following the 2005-06 through 2011-12 catalog years will use the HSSEAS Degree Audit System which can be accessed at http://dars.seas.ucla.edu <http://dars.seas.ucla.edu/>. Choose "Student Interface" and login with your UID and SEASnet account password.
Before logging on to DARS, you must do the following:
DECLARE YOUR TBA ON COURSEWEB
In order for your course credit to be accurately applied to your academic record
you need to declare your Technical Breadth Area on courseweb (EE, ChE and MSE, C&EE
and BIOENGR students also need to declare their option/pathway/track, see below)
- declare your technical breadth area on courseweb
If you are uncertain which area you plan to follow, please select the option
" undecided" then at a later date update the information.
Instructions for declaring your technical breadth area on courseweb are as
follows:
1. Login to http://courseweb.seas.ucla.edu
2. At [My Courseweb], in "My Profile" box, click on "About Me"
3. Locate "Technical Breadth Area" in the "View/Edit Profile Information"
box and select your TBA.
EL ENGR, CH ENGR, C&EE, BIOENGR and MAT SCI MAJORS ALSO DECLARE OPTION/PATHWAY/TRACK:
Please log on to courseweb to declare your option for your major. See instructions below.
1. Login to http://courseweb.seas.ucla.edu
2. At [My Courseweb], in "My Profile" box, click on "About Me"
3. Locate "Major Option" in the "View/Edit Profile Information"
box and select your major option.
If you are uncertain which option you plan to follow, please select the
option
"undecided" then at a later date update the information.
Now you are ready to log in to view your credit on DARS.
DARS LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Get a SEASnet account at http://www.seas.ucla.edu/acctapp if you
don't already have one. See the account policy at
http://www.seasnet.ucla.edu/services/seasnet-accounts
2. Open Internet Explorer (other web browsers should work, but are not supported).
3. Go to http://dars.seas.ucla.edu <http://dars.seas.ucla.edu/>, choose "Student Interface" and
login with your UID and SEASnet account password.
AFTER YOU HAVE LOGGED IN, YOU MAY DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Submit new audit
Then click the top grey “Open Audit” button to view the most up-to-date audit
Click the blue link “Open All Sections”
You may view and/or print
2. Logout
