“Interested in helping improve UCLA’s sustainability? Want to gain experience creating and presenting a business proposal? Then come participate in GOOD Maker and BGreen Consulting’s Green Solutions Competition. From April 18 to 23, undergraduates from ALL majors can form groups of 3-4 to submit their solution ideas to GOOD Maker for public voting. Groups with the Top 10 voted ideas from GOOD Maker will then advance to create and present their business proposals to a panel of judges in two rounds on June 2 at Ackerman Union. Winners will receive $400, a published article in GOOD, and the opportunity to work closely with the Facilities Commission to implement their solution. (A special business proposal writing workshop led by Professor Abe will be held on May 2 from 6pm-8pm at the Career Center; at least one member from each group must attend.)
