MATLAB Workshop: Summer/Fall 2013
The Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science is offering a special workshop to provide a formal introduction to MATLAB during the Summer break (before the Fall 2013 quarter begins). The workshop will be led by graduate students who have extensive experience with MATLAB. If you've taken CS 31 or C++, the pace of this workshop may seem a bit slow for you, however, you may still benefit from the information being taught. It is highly recommended that you complete Math 33A (Linear Algebra and Applications) before you take this workshop. The workshop will be held over 4 days and include approximately 24 hours of classroom instruction outlined as follows:*TENTATIVE WORKSHOP SCHEDULE*
- Saturday, September 21, 2013 (8AM-5PM)
- Sunday, September 22, 2013 (8AM-5PM)
- Monday, September 23, 2013 (8AM-5PM)
- Tuesday, September 24, 2013 (8AM-5PM)
There will be a $100 registration fee. Once paid, the fee is nonrefundable!
The workshop enrollment is limited to 65 participants, so sign up early!
Register and Pay here (NOT YET ACTIVE, TBA). When we open enrollment please note priority for spots will go to our current undergraduate engineering majors. If space is available we will then consider non-engineering majors and graduate students.
NOTE: UCLA Housing. If you will have UCLA Housing in the Fall quarter, we highly advise you move in on Friday, September 20th so that you are ready for this workshop first thing Saturday morning on September 21st!
This workshop DOES NOT serve as a replacement for Civil and Environmental Engineering 15. Please note that if you are a UCLA student and would like to take a MATLAB class as part of your Fall 2013 course schedule, you may sign up for C&EE 15.
