Internship: BART
The Bay Area Rapid Transit District will be offering an 8-week Summer Internship Program from Monday, June 18 through Friday, August 10, 2018. This internship will be offered to Senior year, Graduate level engineering students and recent Graduates. This is a paid internship at $18 an hour and only the first 300 applications will be reviewed. Applications open on January 22.

Fellowship: Toshiba-Westinghouse Fellows Program
Penn State’s Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering is now accepting applications for an outstanding undergraduate summer research program in the nuclear field at Penn State—the Toshiba-Westinghouse Undergraduate Fellows Program: www.mne.psu.edu/TWFP. The program runs from May 29—August 3, 2017. REU: Vanderbilt University – Nanoscience and Nanoengineering
The Vanderbilt Institute for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (VINSE) focuses on interdisciplinary nanoscale research at the interface of biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Students are encouraged to propose policy strategies, business models, and other solutions to address their chosen challenge, but these proposals must be accompanied by a physical intervention at a specific site in a city within the 100 Resilient Cities network.
