The purpose of this event is to aid all engineers who need help in
securing an internship. The event includes an introduction by HSSEAS
Education Coordinator William Herrera, followed by a student internship
panel. This panel will consist of students that have had prior
internship experience who will answer general questions regarding the
process. The event continues with a group discussion where members can
ask more major-specific questions regarding internships. Finally, the
night will conclude with the chance for members to seek one-on-one
advice with more experienced students who have already held internships
and gone through the process.
You will likely hear some GREAT ADVICE and be better prepared for the
Engineering Career Fair that Thursday (Jan. 24th)!
Of course, there will be food and drinks as well, so if you need help
getting that summer internship or would like to help others, there
really is no reason not to come!
To gauge attendance and provide the adequate amount of food, please RSVP
to the event. Although RSVP’ing is not necessary, doing so will better
help us prepare this event for you! Additionally, if you would like to
ask a question at the event, RSVP’ing will allow you to submit your
questions and it may be chosen to be asked to the panel or discussion
leaders!
