 The day will begin with a General Session in Royce Hall promptly at 9:00 A.M. 
Because of the legendary LA traffic, we advise that you give yourself plenty of time to arrive early.  Note that no food or drink is allowed in Royce Hall so give yourself time to finish any items you may have brought or purchased.  Again, lunch will be provided.  Please visit the following website for directions to campus or you may use the UCLA interactive campus map.  As a reminder parking will be in Lot 2 ($12) and dress comfortably!

You will meet the department chair and other faculty, students, and staff.

2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. 
The below events overlap and you are free to visit the computer labs, or take a housing tour, or explore the campus on your own.  


2:00 P.M.& 3:00 P.M.  Housing Tours - Line up at the Bruin Bear! 

Housing will offer 2 Housing Tours leaving from the Bruin Bear meeting location at 2:00pm and at 3:00pm.  Last group will leave by 3:00 P.M. 

The tour is an uphill walk to the residential halls and you are advised to wear comfortable shoes. 


2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.  HSSEAS Points of Interest (hosted by the UCLA Engineering Ambassadors)

Meet our UCLA Engineering Ambassadors!  They will be stationed at various Points of Interest around Engineering and will be available to you more about our facilities, answer questions, and share their experiences. This half guided/half self guided tour (passport included in your welcome packet) will give you a chance to Explore the many buildings within which HSSEAS is housed! 

You are advised to wear comfortable shoes. 

 

 

2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Come to our Engineering Student Organizations Fair in the Court of Sciences

Talk to student leaders and discover first hand what some of the many Engineering Student Organizations have to offer you.  Submit your vote for best table!

2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. SEASnet Computer Labs will be open for viewing:

Computer Labs located in Boelter Hall rooms 2684, 4404, 4405, and 4442 

 
 

2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.  Explore the campus on your own*
