CHANGE IN STATS 110A OFFERING - I heard that Statistics 110A will
no longer be offered?

STATS 110A, which is a required course for CS/CSE students, will not be taught
again after Summer 2009.  After Summer 09 CS/CSE students will be allowed to
take STATS 100A instead of Stats 110A.

For Summer 2009, you have the option to take Stats 100A or Stats 110A.

Please also note that Stats 100A or Stats 110A is an acceptable pre-requisite
for Com Sci 112.

CS/CSE students will need to file a petition to substitute Stats 100A for 110A after completing the course at 6426 Boelter Hall.  This will automatically
be approved, but you will need to submit the paperwork in order for your
academic record to be updated correctly.
