Outstanding Bachelor of Science Award

Description/Criteria: The HSSEAS Outstanding Bachelor of Science award will be presented at the HSSEAS Commencement Ceremony. This award is limited to undergraduate students who will complete their B.S. degree in the 2009-2010 academic year
(Summer 2009, Fall 2009, Winter 2010, or Spring 2010 degree completion).
Criteria may include items such as GPA, creativity, research, and community service.

Award:  Monetary award and plaque (monetary award subject to fund verification)

Nomination Procedure: A *letter nominating student for award, outlining how student meets the criteria for award, and any supporting documentation (such as papers, articles, etc.) should be forwarded to Leah Eberhardt, Office of Academic & Student Affairs, 6426 Boelter Hall.

*Nominations by faculty, staff and others are strongly encouraged; however, self nominations will be considered. Selection will be made by the HSSEAS Awards and Honors Committee.
